There are several things I love about Whitlock Place. There is a sense of safety and security. Everything I need is right here! If I want a haircut or I want to see a movie, I don't have to go outside, it's offered right down the hall.

The Whitlock Place is one of the best places I have seen for people to be Worth being a nursing home set up or assisted-living. The workers there are awesome and just the atmosphere itself makes you feel so much better. When I visit the people there as a pastor it’s amazing how happy they are. My mother was at Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville IN for almost 3 years. She had dementia and low vision, and was hard of hearing. During her stay I saw nothing but caring, compassionate people taking care of her. Everyone knew her by name, knew what she liked (chocolate!), and how to care for someone with dementia. As mom's dementia worsened the staff never faltered, always being kind to her. Mom loved it there and I believe the staff and other residents were the reason why.
